Awards for Ph.D. students
There are prizes for best oral and best poster presentations for PhD students. The students should provide a certificate and recommendation with a registration number of Ph.D. from Ph.D. Supervisor/Head of Department to be eligible for the same.
There will be a best thesis presentation award for Ph.D. students. Those who submitted Ph.D. thesis within the last six months or are ready to submit Ph.D. thesis should provide a certificate and a recommendation letter from the head of the department to be eligible for the same. (This category has been discontinued due to fewer applicants)
The prizes are sponsored by the Ion Beam Society of India (IBSI).
Financial support to Ph.D. students
All the students participating in the ‘International School of characterization techniques (ISCT 2023)’ at IUAC Delhi will be provided travel support by train/Bus (Second sleeper class) from/to Delhi to/from Dehradun.
Support to other students may be provided depending on the availability of funds from funding agencies.

The associated activity of the International School on Characterization Techniques (ISCT 2023) (Webpage: https://sites.google.com/view/isct2023/home) is taking place at IUAC, New Delhi from Oct 28-31, 2023. Students are encouraged to attend both activities to avail travel support as discussed above.
