Participants in the grand challenge MUST submit an original paper (i.e., not been previously published or accepted for publication in substantially similar form in any peer-reviewed venue including journal, conference or workshop). The papers should describe their models, any additional data used in training, and the performance if any. The test set result can be added to the camera-ready version if the paper is accepted. If authors are participating in both NR and FR tracks, the differences between models and/or training should be stated in the paper. If no paper is submitted the team will be removed from the competition.
Winning team will have the option to co-auth a joint survey paper to be published at this grand challenge. Additional benchmarking data (not used for ranking) and analysis might be added by the organizer or author in this survey paper.
All submissions should follow the same template and rules as for the main ICME 2025 main conference listed here. For example:
Example Paper, Formatting Guidelines and Templates: The following links point to an example paper containing detailed formatting guidelines. They also constitute templates for Microsoft Word and LateX submissions.
Length: Papers must be no longer than 6 pages, including all text, figures, and references.
Presentation guarantee: By submitting the paper, the authors guarantee that if the paper is accepted, it will be presented in person at the conference by one of the authors, except in case of emergency as determined by the Technical Co-Chairs. Furthermore, the presenter must register for the conference at one of the non-student rates offered, and must register before the deadline given for author registration. Failure to register before the deadline will result in automatic withdrawal of the paper from the conference proceedings and program. Failure to present the paper by an author in person will result in the paper not appearing in IEEE Xplore, and IEEE will retain the copyright. Also, the list of missing authors will be passed to the ICME Steering Committee.
Unlike the main conference, the review process for this workshop has only one round, and is single-blind. Authors do NOT have to be anonymized when submitting their work.
Please use Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit for submitting your PDF paper and select your track as FR, NR or Both:
