Student Events

Thyagaraja Aaradhana

This is an annual Event held to celebrate the great composer of Carnatic Music St. Tyagaraja. Students showcase their talent by singing the Pancha ratna kritis during this event. The Pancha ratna kritis refer to five increadibly complex and intricate compositions of St. Tyagaraja which take a great deal of skill and perseverence to master. The event is a culmination of more than three months of dedicated practice, which involves our own students teaching each other, practicing, and perfecting these compostions until it is worthy of being presented on stage on the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami.
