Our programs operate in harmony with the efforts of Latin America’s mathematical societies, following the example and recognizing UMALCA (Unión Matemática de Latinoamérica y el Caribe) as the highest authority of the Latin American Mathematical Community.
From 2020, the research organisation ICMAM Latin America (International Community of Mathematicians from Latin America) aims to advance mathematical research in Latin America and the Caribbean, enhance its visibility, and foster collaboration among mathematicians from the region and abroad.
Our mission:
Building a Stronger Mathematical Community
We connect young mathematicians with global leaders to grow together.Inspiring the Next Generation of Women in Mathematics
We honor their achievements and inspire a diverse future in mathematics.Leaving a Legacy in Mathematical Research
We provide Latin American mathematicians with the opportunity to publish their research in our Springer Book Series, offering a global perspective on the scientific activity of the Latin American mathematical community and sharing its contributions with the world.
