The International Conference on Language and Social Psychology (ICLASP19-Tucson) is a biennial event that brings together scholars from around the world to explore the multifaceted relationship between language and social psychological processes and outcomes. This year's conference, ICLASP19-Tucson, highlights the ways in which language shapes and is shaped by social interactions, identities, relationships, and societal structures.
We invite submissions that address a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

We also welcome submissions that do not neatly fit into these categories but contribute valuable insights to our understanding of language and social psychology.
We encourage submissions in various formats, including:
Individual Papers: 15-minute oral presentation of original research in which your paper will be placed with other papers based on a shared theme. Individual papers can be single authored or collaborative.
3x5 Interactive Presentation: 3-minute oral presentation of a work in progress followed by 5-minute audience engagement designed to generate rapid feedback on a precision prompt or question from the presenter.
Poster Presentations: Visual presentation of original research by a single author or collaborative team.
Thematic Panels: Series of related presentations on a specific theme for presentation in a 90-minute session. Thematic panels are comprised of 4-6 members.
All submissions will undergo a peer-review process by the Scientific Review Committee chaired by Dr. Katie Collins, University of Saskatchewan.
Student-led Individual Papers and Poster Presentations are eligible for the Tamar Murachver Top Student Paper Award.
