We are delighted to welcome you on November 16, 17 to the 2024 International Conference on GIS and Remote Sensing Applications at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) in Salna, Gazipur, Bangladesh. 

Getting to BSMRAU:

From Dhaka Airport 

Visitors arriving at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (Dhaka Airport) can reach BSMRAU in Salna by the following means:

• Ride-Sharing Apps: Uber and Pathao are readily available at the airport. The journey to BSMRAU typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

or,

• Bus: Public buses are available from the airport. You will need to take a bus heading towards Chourasta and then transfer to another bus heading towards Salna (BSMRAU).

        i) Bus Names From Air Port to Chourasta

To reach Chourasta from various parts of Dhaka, you can take the following bus 🚍 :

1. VIP 27 Bus (ভিআইপি ২৭ বাস)

2. BRTC Bus (বি আর টি সি বাস)

3. Gazipur Paribahan Bus (গাজীপুর পরিবহন বাস)

4. Green Anabil Bus (গ্রীন অনাবিল বাস)

5. Provati Banasree Bus (প্রভাতী বনশ্রী বাস)

6. Skyline Bus (স্কাই লাইন বাস)

7. Balaka Bus (বলাকা বাস)

8. Basumati Transport Bus (বাসুমতি ট্রান্সপোর্ট বাস)

or, any bus 🚍 heading for Mymenshing. 

     ii)  From Chourasta to BSMRAU 

From Chourasta, you can take a forward local bus 🚍 or rickshaw to BSMRAU (better known as IPSA Gate to locals). 

From Joydebpur Train Station (🚂)

For visitors arriving via Joydebpur Train Station:

• University Shuttle Bus:  BSMRAU has a shuttle bus service from Joydebpur to the university at fixed times.

• Or, you may come using an auto-rickshaw or rickshaw. It will take around 25-30 min.

• BSMRAU Guest House: We have a very limited number of rooms available at our guest house, reserved exclusively for our invited speakers.
