APBP in Action

Hello!

Thank you for coming to our presentation!

We are researching the impacts of integrating arts-based pedagogies into the classroom for both preservice and in-service teachers. One easy way to integrate the arts into the classroom is via trips to local museums and exhibits. The primary outcome of our research is learning to effectively integrate arts- and place-based pedagogies into the secondary classroom. Our research question is: What are the impacts of the integration of arts- and place-based pedagogies on both preservice and in-service teachers?

If you would like to participate in our research, please include your name and email on the sheet at the back of the room. To participate, you agree to complete an informed consent form, a demographic survey, an aesthetic mindset survey, and sit for a semi-structured interview on Zoom. You can opt out at any time. You should also note that there is no compensation for participation in the study.

This study has been approved by the West Chester University Institutional Review Board, protocol IRB-FY2023-362.
