The Hole was created in the forest behind the playground Raggagarđur in Súđavík, Iceland in summer of 2021 by Baldur and Finnur Kári, who worked for their grandpa, Finnur. After work every day, they dug the hole deeper. The next year (2022), they came back to work for their grandpa again and looked for the hole, they had dug. Sadly, it was gone, so they dug a new hole. This is the same hole, you can see right now.

"The hole is a fantastic experience, which changed my life. It is the reason I decided to live in Iceland and buy a house in Súðavík. Now I saw that, I will stop being a tourist forever, to stay in the vibes of this last sensation. Be careful though, the visit can be so intense that mystic experiences can happen. My hair turned instantly white, and now I can say old quotes in Latin."
