ACCOMMODATION & FOOD CHARGES
Faculties will get accommodation in the IIT Mandi guest house on a payment basis. Sharing accommodation will be provided.
The students will get accommodation in the hostels on a payment basis. Sharing accommodation will be provided.
Participants need to pay the food and accommodation charges at the time of registration.
Students need to pay INR 3500 for accommodation and food charges.
Faculties need to pay INR 5000 for accommodation and food charges.
Needy students and young faculties can get some support from the conference organizer if funds will be available.
For one accompanying person, everyone needs to pay INR 5500 at the time of registration.
A number of double-bedded guest house rooms are available (mostly on a sharing basis) at IIT Mandi for senior researchers/faculty on a first-come, first-served basis. The C. V. Raman Guest House, IIT Mandi’s main guest house, has excellent facilities and a central heating system. Other than this, all the rooms are well furnished and equipped with the basic services required by the guests, such as Wi-Fi, cable TV, hot and cold water supplies in washrooms, a study table with a chair, a luggage rack, and a cupboard. The accommodation, mainly for the student delegates, will be arranged in well-furnished hostels. Other delegates can also opt for hostel accommodation. Hostel rooms are non-AC with all basic amenities like a cot with mattress, bedsheet, pillow, blanket, room heater, mug, and bucket (common washroom).
Other than the institute guest house and hostel accommodation, few hotels are available in Mandi town or near IIT Mandi.
