WK Clifford Prize
5th W.K. Clifford Prize 2023 — CALL FOR NOMINATION
The W.K. Clifford Prize is an international scientific prize designed to encourage young researchers to compete for excellence in theoretical and applied Clifford algebras, their analysis and geometry. The award consists of a written certificate, one year of online access to two Clifford algebra related journals, a book token worth €150, and a cash award of €1000. The laureate is also offered the opportunity to give the special W.K. Clifford Prize Lecture at University College London, where W.K. Clifford held the first Goldsmid Chair from 1871 until his untimely death in 1879.
The next W.K. Clifford Prize will be awarded at the 13th Conference on Clifford Algebras and Their Applications in Mathematical Physics (ICCA13) in Holon, Israel in June, 2023.

The Award consists of

An award ceremony is organized during the ICCA conference, with an honorary speech by the Chairman of the ICCA Advisory Board enlightening the merits of the awardee. The awardee is invited to give a special plenary lecture.
The Prize Winner is also offered the opportunity to give, in the months following the award ceremony, the special W. K. Clifford Prize Lecture at University College London, where W. K. Clifford held the first Goldsmid Chair from 1871 until his untimely death in 1879.
Nominations
Candidates for the W. K. Clifford Prize may be nominated by anyone, including the candidates themselves, but excluding members of the jury.
Nomination is done by sending a nomination letter to the Secretary (CliffordPrize2020@gmail.com), together with the candidate’s CV and a description of his or her scientific work and main contributions
The nominee should also arrange for three letters of recommendation (jury members excluded) to be sent directly to the Secretary.
Eligibility
The age limit of the candidates is 35, the 35th birthday not having occurred before the 1st of January, 2023.
Applicants should have a PhD degree, or the thesis should have been submitted to the thesis committee before the application deadline.
A candidate can only win the prize once.
