in my beginning was my end
you were the oracle of my fate
the cell door you unlatched before me
commenced my sweet escape
my feet brushed on an unfamiliar ground
stone cold cement somehow out of reach
a pattern of toe to heel on smooth parchment
with inscriptions in velvet ink
with every step i took, there, a chapter left behind
the caress of your fingers at each line
ushered me towards my demise
words that slithered towards me, ready to pounce at any resistance
a treadmill of pages as my ground, what i saw from my indistinct vision
i was imprisoned in a place ought to be unconventional
but what comes around goes around
the rule of karma to my state
endeavoring to escape what is linear
only to find myself curving the other way
papers flipping from a strong wind
my agitation building up inside of me
the paranoia of being watched
though you’re the stirrer of my fate

in my end was my beginning
i bade farewell to you here
as both ends met, an abandoning occurred thereafter
and forever did history repeat
