Formerly known as Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College. The College is known for its quality initiatives which are amply reflected in accreditations by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for UG & PG programmes and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A+’ Grade. The college participated in National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 and ranked in 150-200 Band and 51-100 band in NIRF-Innovation. The college is ranked in the EXCELLENT Band in its maiden attempt in ARIIA rankings 2021 under Private/Self Financing colleges (Technical) category. The college is one among the 49 selected institutions across India selected by AICTE for establishing IDEA Lab on the campus with a funding of Rs 1.13 Crores from AICTE, Host institute and Industry during the year 2021. Attained Platinum status in AICTE-CII Survey for having high industry linkages in 2017, 2018 ,2019 and 2020 consecutively and placed in the “Excellent” band in ARIIA 2021, has been accorded "College with Potential for Excellence" status by UGC, has been selected as the mentor institution by IIC, MoE Govt of India, Mentor institution for 10 Engineering Colleges under AICTE Margdarshan Scheme, Recognized as one of the Best performing institutions from South Zone by Institution Innovation Council (IIC), Bagged first position and won Rs. 1 lakh in Smart India Hackathon 2020 organized by MHRD and AICTE, Successfully implemented World bank 6 crore project TEQIP-II as one of the best performing institutions at the National Level, meeting all the key deliverables. Organization received Rs 3.61 Crores under Science, Technology and innovation Hub by DST, Various projects with a budget of Rs. 2.86 crores are funded by agencies like DST, INUP, ISRO-RESPOND & UGC for faculty research projects, AICTE grant of Rs. 97.58 lakhs for laboratory development under Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence Scheme (MODROBS), Rs. 82.5 lakhs for Staff Development Programs and Rs. 8 lakhs for establishment of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and received Rs. 1.4 lakh from EDII, Ahmedabad to organize Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps under DST-NIMAT Project. Implemented Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana for Technical Institutions (PMKVY-TI) through AICTE with a sanctioned amount of Rs.31.54 lakh to offer technical training to unemployed youth. Sanction of DST grant of Rs. 20 lakhs under FIST Programme for promotion of Research. Establishment of Atmospheric Research Laboratory, implementing a DST, Government of India Project with a fund of Rs. 20 lakhs. AICTE sanctioned Skill and Personality Development Programme Centre (SPDPC) for SC/ST Students with a grant of Rs. 15.3 lakh. Provision of facilities worth Rs. 15 lakhs to support Research & Development by INUP, IIT Bombay.Member of professional societies such as IEEE, ISOI, CSI, ACM, SAE India, IWS, ISHRAE, IE, ASCE, IGS, SCRS and Institutional Memberships: EdCIL, CII, IIEC, CISCO, IUCEE and ISTE, Establishment of National MEMS Design Centre under the aegis of NPMASS and IISc, Bangalore, JNTUA recognized research centres in EEE, ECE & CSE Departments;
