I joined an English course at LB LIA Cibubur in July 2019 and graduated in December 2021. At that time, I didn’t have a specific goal other than to improve my overall English skills. I started at Elementary 3, and over the next few years, I moved up level by level—every 3 (three) months—until I completed the highest level, Higher Intermediate 2.

The course covered all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The topics were varied, ranging from daily conversations to more complex issues like mental health. Every learning activity felt meaningful, but the final assignment stood out the most—it was both mentally and physically challenging. I had to write an essay based on research even though it is opinion, and not only that, I also had to present it in front of the class.
