PYP Teacher of the Year

We are thrilled to celebrate Denyse Deihl, who has been honored as an IB Teacher of the Year by the Arizona International Baccalaureate Schools (AZIBS)!

This recognition is a wonderful reflection of the passion, creativity, and commitment Mrs. Deihl brings to her students and to the IB experience at Madison Simis. She embraces the IB philosophy by creating learning experiences that encourage students to be curious, ask questions, make connections, and see themselves as capable learners and leaders.

Mrs. Deihl understands that IB learning is about more than academic content—it is about developing the whole child. Through inquiry, collaboration, reflection, and meaningful connections to the world around them, she helps students develop the attributes of the IB Learner Profile and encourages them to approach learning with an open mind and a willingness to take action.

We are incredibly proud to have Mrs. Deihl as part of the Simis community. Her dedication to our students and to our IB mission makes a lasting difference every day, and this well-deserved recognition gives us another opportunity to celebrate the impact she has on our school.
