A little about Melissa Powers

        I've been in education for 23 years. I taught 4th grade for 4 years before moving to Arizona and started as a classroom teacher at Simis teaching grades 3 and 4. This is my 19th year at Madison Simis and my 12th year as IB Coordinator. I have a BA in Education from Wheaton College, IL and a MA in School Counseling from Northern Arizona University. I love to spend time with my family and travel. I've even climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania! Feel free to contact me with any questions about our wonderful IB program at Madison Simis!
