Isotopes in Biogenic Silica
Isotopes in Biogenic Silica
It was our pleasure to welcome online and i-person attendees to the 12th Isotopes in Biogenic Silica (IBiS) meeting, held in Bristol, UK from the 30th of March to the 1st of April 2026. The meeting brought together researchers from different disciplines who share a common interest in silicon, biogeochemical cycling and all of the isotopes associated with biogenic silica.
Previous IBiS meetings have inspired discussions and scientific advances, and we hope that this meeting continued in that tradition. In addition, these meetings provide an excellent opportunity for graduate students, early career scientists and more established colleagues to share their latest findings, identify areas of future research and solve methodological issues.
Registration and abstract submission are now closed, and the meeting has finished. Thanks to everyone who participated; we look forward to seeing you at IBiS 2028!
