This Privacy Policy describes how Aprende Inglés con Radios ("the App") handles information when you use our application.
The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App's core features.
The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
Your favorite radio stations
Your listening streak history and total listening time
Your daily listening goal preference
Your sleep timer preferences
Stations you have reported as broken
Your consent and privacy preference choices
This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve its features and performance. Firebase Analytics may collect:
App usage data (e.g. screens visited, features used, session duration)
Device information (e.g. device model, operating system version)
Approximate location (based on IP address)
Identifiers such as the advertising ID and Firebase installation ID

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner ads and rewarded ads. To increase ad quality and competition, AdMob may use mediation with third-party advertising networks, which may include partners such as Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, Unity Ads, Pangle, and Mintegral, among others available through Google's mediation platform.
These advertising partners may collect and use certain information to serve and measure ads, including:
Device identifiers (e.g. advertising ID)
Approximate location (based on IP address)
Usage data and interactions with ads
Ad revenue and impression-level data (used internally to evaluate ad performance; this data does not identify you personally)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other regions where applicable, the App will request your consent before showing personalized ads, using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can review or change your consent choices at any time from within the App, under Settings → Privacy & Ad Choices (this option is shown only to users in regions where it applies).
You can also opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
The App connects to third-party radio station servers to stream audio content. We do not control those servers and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Your IP address may be visible to those servers when you connect to a stream, as is standard with any internet connection.
The App requests the following permissions:
INTERNET — required to stream radio audio and load advertisements
FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK — required to keep audio playing when the App is minimized
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — required to show the playback notification on Android 13 and above
No sensitive permissions (such as microphone, camera, contacts, or precise location) are requested.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App contains advertising and is not directed at children.
You can manage your privacy preferences in the following ways:
Review or update your ad consent choices anytime via Settings → Privacy & Ad Choices within the App (where applicable to your region)
Opt out of personalized advertising through your device's system settings
Uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored data
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. Any changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
