Bible Memory Challenge

This summer during Sunday school we will be trying to memorize Ephesians 2:1-10 together! 

We learned Ephesians 2:10 this past week: 

Ephesians 2:10 (ESV):  “10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

Hope you're able to review and think about this passage this week.

Defend the Faith Sunday School Questions

For our next Sunday school series, "Defend the Faith", we will be learning basic answers to some of the most common questions and oppositions toward Christianity. I'm planning to go through a set list already, but if you have any questions you particularly want answered, please submit this question form here. No guarantees that we will answer that question, but this will help me as I prepare. Thanks! 

Parent Meeting

Special Needs Spotlight

IBC's Indispensable Ministry and YG work together to hold an annual special needs awareness night. This year, our Special Needs Spotlight is on 10/2/26, same time, same place. Looking forward to it!

Open Arms Walk for Life

Saturday, October 10th, 2026

Come join our church to support Open Arms Pregnancy Clinic on 10/10 at 8:30am-12pm at West Valley Christian Church! Open Arms is a ministry that seeks to empower women and men through knowledge given with honesty, respect, and confidentiality as they navigate unexpected pregnancies. They are a Christian ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel while offering life-affirming services to women and men facing unintended pregnancy. This walk supports their ministry and raises money for them. 

Winter Retreat Dates

Friday, December 18th, 2026 to Monday, December 21st, 2026

Update to our winter retreat dates - we are planning to return to Oak Glen Christian Conference Center this year, but they have a policy of starting weekend retreats on Friday only. 

Therefore, our winter retreat dates are 12/18-12/21/26. 

The main reason for this date change is that in the coming years, our usual retreat dates will be conflicting with New Years Eve and New Years so we want to avoid that weekend. We hope that you can make it! More updates to come, but we will ideally be going up late Friday night 12/18, and returning Monday afternoon 12/21.
