Head Cheer Coach/Owner - Dea

Her favourite thing about cheer is the feeling of accomplishment you get the first time you see your kids hit a new stunt skill. Dea has been an athlete at the gym since she was born and knows exactly the level of determination and drive it takes to succeed in such a demanding sport. Dea was coached by her mum (Car) and now they work side-by-side and with an amazing coaching crew leading Insanity with more passion for the sport than you’ve ever seen.

Head Women’s Gymnastics & Tumble Coach/Owner - Car

Her favourite thing about coaching this sport is being able to help our kids reach their goals, and seeing the smiles on their faces when they do. Car’s 40 year coaching career began with gymnastics and the love for coaching has only grown since cheer came to SA. Her knowledge on tumbling and tumbling progression is paramount and she believes that correct technique is of utmost importance and teaching patience through learning skills to ensure her athletes safety

Head Dance Coach - Jake

His favourite thing about Cheer/Dance is the feeling you get at competitions when you’re engulfed by the emotions of the routines, and seeing that from the coaches chair is enough to make anyone proud. Jake has been a dancer all his life, participating in tonnes of amazing productions through some local SA companies. Jake is currently studying in Bachelor of Arts so he can pursue his career in teaching dance alongside his cheer and dance classes at Insanity!
