Keynote Speakers

KEYNOTE #1:

PROFESSOR DR NAFISAH BINTI MOHD ISA @ OSMAN

Prof. Dr. Nafisah is a professor in Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Perlis. Her research interests are in the fields of solid electrolyte, proton conductor, and generally, the materials for proton ceramic fuel cells (PCFCs). Having authored tens of high-impact research articles, Prof. Nafisah is a prominent figure in her research fields, either local or international. She has secured many research grants, where her number of research grants more than forty as a project leader and member. Three PhD students and eight MSc have graduated under Prof. Nafisah's supervision. While active in research, she also involved herself in a scientific society, notably as the Honorary Secretary of the Malaysian Solid State Sciences & Technology Society (MASS). As a renowned woman researcher, it is our honour to be able to have Prof. Nafisah joining our Conference.


KEYNOTE #2:

PROFESSOR MANSOUR ALMAZROUI - KING ABDULAZIZ UNIVERSITY

Prof. Almazroui is currently the head of the Department of Meteorology at the Faculty of Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture in King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Almazroui is also the associate fellow in the (Climatic Research Unit), University of East Anglia, England. He obtained his BSc in 1991 and Master Degree in 1998 from the Department of Meteorology, Faculty of Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture, King Abdulaziz University. He completed his PhD in CRU in 2006. The title of his PhD was “The relationships between atmospheric circulation patterns and surface climatic elements in Saudi Arabia”.

Beside lecturing he is also University representative in the National Saudi Committee to prepare "The national detailed strategic plan for Environmental Technology in Saudi Arabia". The Departmental head of the Academic Accreditation and the Faculty head of the internet committee.


KEYNOTE #3:

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR TS DR SHUKOR SANIM MOHD FAUZI

He is the Rector Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis Branch and a faculty member of Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, UiTM Perlis Branch, Malaysia. Previously, he has held Visiting Fellow position at Universitas Airlangga (2018), and Visiting Researcher position at Universitas Islam Riau (2018).


KEYNOTE #4:

PROFESSOR MOHAMMED QUADDUS

Dr Mohammed Quaddus currently is a professor at the School of Management and Marketing at Curtin University, Perth. Prof Quaddus has research interest in multiple disciplines, which include Behavioural Modelling in Marketing and Tourism, ICT and Tourism, Sustainability and Tourism, Information systems planning, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Risk management in supply chain. Prof Quaddus has published over 300 papers in refereed journals, international conferences and chapters in Books. His publications have appeared in Omega, International Journal of Production Economics, European Journal of Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Supply Chain Management - An International Journal, Information System Frontiers, Rural Sociology, among many others. He has successfully supervised over 60 doctoral students. In 1996 and 2005 he received “researcher of the year” award in Curtin Business School. From Jan 2009 - Dec 2011 he was deputy dean and dean of research, and from March 2013 - March 2014 he was Director of Curtin Graduate School of Business, Curtin Business School. Prof Quaddus also acted as consultants for a number of organizations including, DAFWA, Woodside Petroleum and World Bank.
