I am currently a Primary Instructor for Calculus IV at the University of Kentucky. If you're one of my students, click here for class info and more resources.
Current Courses:
MA 109: College Algebra
Semester: Fall 2026
Role: Corequisite Instructor
Covers selected topics in algebra, such as a review of high school algebra, quadratic formula, systems of linear equations, introduction to functions and graphing. In particular, the course will cover solving equations (linear, quadratic, rational, exponential, and logarithmic), graphing on the Cartesian coordinate system (with special emphasis on lines and their slope), solving systems of linear equations (with substitution and elimination), using technology such as graphing calculators, solving applied problems, and general functions (with emphasis on exponential, logarithmic, polynomial, and rational functions).
Previous Courses:
MA 214: Calculus IV
Semester: Spring 2026
Role: Primary Instructor
This is a course in ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Emphasis is on first- and second-order equations and applications. The course includes series solutions of second-order equations and Laplace transform methods.
MA 213: Calculus III
Semester: Fall 2025
Role: Teaching Assistant
A course in multi-variable calculus. Topics include vectors and geometry of space, three-dimensional vector calculus, partial derivatives, double and triple integrals, integration on surfaces, Green's theorem. Optional topics include Stokes' theorem and the Gauss' divergence theorem. Lecture, three hours; recitation, two hours per week.
MA 123: Elementary Calculus
Semester: Spring 2025
Role: Lead TA and TA Mentor
An introduction to differential and integral calculus, with applications to business and the biological and physical sciences.
