Notes: There are some heads and camera drops, but when the camera is on it is absolutely beautifully captured.

May 25, 2014 | Broadway | VOB + smalls
Idina Menzel (Elizabeth), LaChanze (Kate), Anthony Rapp (Lucas), James Snyder (Josh), Jerry Dixon (Stephen), Jenn Colella (Anne), Jason Tam (David), Tamika Lawrence (Elena), Joe Cassidy (Deputy Mayor and others), Miguel Cervantes (A Bartender and others), Curtis Holbrook (A Solider and others), Stephanie Klemons (A Flight Attendant and others), Tyler McGee (A Street Musician and others), Ryann Redmond (Paulette and others), Joe Aaron Reid (An Architect and others), Ann Sanders (Cathy and others)
Notes: There are a couple quick dropouts during the prologue and What If?, and the first half of act one is a bit shaky, but it’s much better as the show goes on. There is one head that obstructs a small portion of the front of the stage, but it never blocks more than the actors’ feet and it’s rarely noticeable overall. There is no washout, and the sound is excellent as usual. It’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Notes: Idina's last performance. An emotional performance by the whole cast, particularly Idina. Her feelings overcome her during Always Starting Over and the Finale, leading to roaring cheers of support from the crowd. There is also a fantastic blooper during What If: Elizabeth’s phone rings and the phone is not in her pocket. Chaos ensues. A really fantastic capture with no obstruction, no washout, and just two quick dropouts in act one. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans. A

Notes: Brilliant recording of the show. Crystal clear quality. The most modern video recording of the show (in English) I've found of the show yet. The screencaps do the show no justice! Almost no heads at all. Unfortunately, it is missing the curtain call and megamix. A very strong performance by all of the cast. I'm not sure who is Ali though. Great zooms, however sometimes you miss out on other things happening due to the camera focussing on the main characters.

Notes: Understudy night. Act 1 is complete, slightly shaky but nothing too bad. Act 2 starts in the middle of Brimstone and Treacle (so its missing 3 minutes), but is a much better shot with few obstructions as the master moved. Notes: Highlights including the Miracle solo, Naughty, a very small clip of Story 1, Naughty Reprise, Matilda’s When I Grow Up solo, Quiet, and Bows. Overall it is pretty good quality, filmed from very close up with almost no spotlight washout. There is quite a bit of head obstruction and sometimes fingers in the camera, unfortunately. Great audio quality though.

Notes: There are a few heads at the bottom of the screen, but they are easily worked around so they rarely affect the action. July 2015 | West End | MOV | LIMITED TRADE 2:1
Anna-Louise Knight (Matilda), Lily Blackwell (Lavender)
Notes: Highlights including Quiet and Revolting Children. The video quality is okay. There is some light-washaway, but not enough to ruin the video quality. There is quite a few heads on the bottom of the screen but mostly not effective toward the video. Revolting Children quality is not as good as the rest of the video but still fine. Mostly the camera is down, and filming the ceiling of the stage, the full Revolting Children is blurry and there is a fair amount of washout and obstruction.

Really good quality video filmed from front row with amazing audio. Some light washout, and quite a few blackouts. Average camera wanders, and sometimes missing action because films front of the stage. Overall really great video!

Notes: Another great performance from the tour cast. The acoustics of an open pit is incredible. Carly Thoms play's one of the best Miss Honey's I've watched, her vocals are like butter. Recorded from a few rows back, vertically from a phone so there is a lot of obstruction. Will trade both audio and video as one.

They paused the show for several minutes then everyone reset and they restarted from a few minutes prior. First act does have some obstructions. The whole stage is usually visible just left side and bottom of screen are blacked out from a railing at times to varying degrees. Video starts about 30 seconds into each act. Second act is less obstructed with very clear beautiful captures of I'd Rather Be Me, World Burn, and More Is Better with great zooms. It was shot with high quality camera.

It’s recorded from pretty far without any close-ups or zoom-ins. This means it can be pretty washed out at times.

Notes: Highlights totaling about 14 minutes. Includes clips of Bad Romance, Come What May, Chandelier, Rollin' in the Deep, and the Finale/Bows. Camera often wanders to the ceiling and doesn't capture the stage. Many heads in the way and a lot of spotlight washout. The finale is really the only good clip.

Notes: A great capture of this rarely performed musical with emotional performances from the entire cast. There is one head that obstructs the actors feet on the left side of the stage, but it generally doesn’t affect the action and it gets better after the opening number. There is no washout and just a couple quick dropouts. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. The show is one act on one disc. Master’s Notes: This video starts at "Dance With You" and is super focused on Gabi. There are less heads in this than most of my videos and a railing that gets in the way occasionally, but they were mostly worked around. The cast as a whole is doing top notch work, though at times you can tell that Brooks and Izzy are just back from being sick. Overall this is a really great video of one of my favorite shows, and I'm really proud of myself for containing my crying at the end of act one.

Master’s Notes: Gift upon request. Unobstructed closing performance with the full cast! Starts in the beginning of "Changing Lives" and is a little washed out. For whatever reason my camera was mad at me and didn't want to focus in the beginning of Act One. It warmed up and got better, and to be honest I opted for wider shots because everyone was doing crazy things and I didn't want to miss anything. I stood up for all but one of the standing ovations and when I did so I have no idea what my camera did or what it was looking at. I would say sorry but it wouldn't be true. I'm just so damn proud of all of these people. Please do not post this bootleg publicly!
