Our aim and mission:

The association "I also want two ears" was established with the mission 

of helping families that have children dealing with microtia.

The goal of the association is to allow the families to finance the expensive surgeries and treatments 

and other surgery-related expenses so that the suffering children will be able to live a normal and healthy life.

This helping action was fundraised with ten fingers by microtia patients' mothers 

so there is a place for help and support for all microtia patient's families.

The mothers opened the organization from them being in a place where they understand 

the challenges and the high costs that keep families away from the surgery aim.

They understand the parents that go through daily suffering with their children.

With feeling the pain, we believe that every child is entitled to have two ears for a good, healthy, and quality life.

About Microtia:

What is it? 

Microtia is a congenital malformation of the auricle characterized by a deformed or missing ear. 

This is a birth defect that there is no way to know about or prevent ahead of time.  

In most cases, this is also accompanied by hearing impairment. 

Many times, there are also facial deformities and various other medical problems.

For every person two normal ears are something that is taken for granted. 

But for a child with microtia, it is their daily dream. It is missing, disturbing, and a battle.

A child with microtia is born into a different world. 

He knows the world from an angle of constant struggle, and enormous social distress.

This suffering can be stopped.

With your donation, the children will be able to reach a normal and happy life!

The aim of the charity:

The aims are clear and accurate:

*To pay for surgery and treatments.

The cheapest reconstructing ear surgery is over 106,000 dollars.

In addition, there are additional treatments and related expenses. 

Some of the needed treatments that the association sponsors in addition to the surgery:

 *Hearing restoration or magnet implant for a hearing device.

*Asymmetry surgery.

*Skin tag removal.

*Flight and accommodation expenses for the surgery for the patient and family.

*Purchase of hearing aids.

*Purchase of prosthetic ear.

*Therapy treatments.

* CT scans.

*Follow-ups.

*Treatment traveling expenses.

*Family support at the time of surgery.

*Support groups meetings to keep families strong.
