ABOUT THE CONFERENCE AND VENUE

Indian Anthropology Congress (IAC) is an annual event of the Indian National Confederation and Academy of Anthropologists (INCAA). The 16th IAC-2022 is being organized by INCAA in collaboration with the Department of Anthropology, University of Hyderabad (UoH). The Congress aims to bring together academicians, scientists, and researchers of all branches of anthropology and allied disciplines to deliberate and share their research findings.

Venue:

The Venue selected for IAC-2022 is the University of Hyderabad in the city of Hyderabad (in the state of Telangana, India.) The Department of Anthropology, University of Hyderabad proposed to host the Congress on its sprawling campus and also to utilize the opportunity to showcase heritage tourism in and around the city for the interested participants. However, keeping in mind the current pandemic, the organizers (Department of Anthropology, UoH) decided to hold the conference in a blended mode (offline for local participants from the city of Hyderabad and online for outstation participants).
