We aim to facilitate broader discussions encompassing research from a diverse spectrum. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment that fosters discussion and collaboration across a wide range of research topics within our field.
As such, we welcome submissions that were previously rejected from ISWC Notes and Briefs as special fast-track submissions to be discussed in the I4U workshop. All accepted papers (note and regular) will be included in the same UbiComp/ISWC Adjunct Proceedings and will be indexed in the ACM DL.
Respecting the rigorous review process already conducted by the ISWC Program Committee and reviewers, these submissions will undergo a streamlined jury process conducted by our program committee members, with inclusion being highly probable, though not guaranteed. This process will be less intensive than traditional peer review, primarily considering the relevance of the research to our workshop, while taking a more lenient approach to novelty and rigor. While we request that authors provide any previous reviews their submission has received, these will only be used to guide the alignment of the submission with our workshop attendees' interests. Feedback from previous venues will be considered constructively and will not disqualify a submission from inclusion in our workshop.
