Digital Literacy & Citizenship

These topics, distinct, yet related, are of growing importance today. There is an abundance of information out there - but how accurate, reliable , and truthful is it? How can we handle all that information coming at us? Indeed, what does literacy mean in our digital world?

Further, with so much of our lives online, how can we act and promote responsible use of the Internet? What exactly does "digital" citizenship mean? Is it different from plain old citizenship? What about issues like sustainability, the environment, equity, and social justice?
