ABOUT COMPETITION 

The International Technology Talent Competition 2025 (i-TeTa 2025) is an exciting and prestigious event that invites practitioners, academics, and students from primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions around the world to showcase their creativity, innovation, and technological expertise. This global competition is open to both local and international participants, creating a diverse and dynamic platform for collaboration and innovation.

COMPETITION GUIDELINES

1. i-TeTa is open to all students, academicians, and professionals from local and international government bodies, private agencies, and industry who are dedicated to driving impactful change through innovative solutions. 

2. Each team should have no more than five (5) members and one (1) team leader (maximum of 6 persons per team).

3. This competition offers methods ONLINE and participants are encouraged to select the method that best suits their preferences.

4. The competition offers three Innovation tracks: Social Sciences, Science and Technology, Product/Idea. 

5. Each participant is encouraged to apply for copyright to protect their innovation and avoid infringement.

6. The organizer reserves the right to reject any entry deemed unsuitable or not meeting the event's standards or guidelines

REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. Registration Process

• Abstract Submission: Download the Abstract Template at Download . The abstract must be written in English or Bahasa Melayu.

• Project Registration: Complete the registration form and submit the abstract through the  Registration .

2. Letter of Acceptance

• Letter of Acceptance will be issued upon approval of your project.

• The team leader will receive a LOA through email containing details and a team participant ID.

• Save this information for future reference.

3. Project Preparation

• Prepare a presentation video and supporting evidence.

• Download the Extended Abstract Template at  Download  .

• Upload your video to YouTube and set the permission to "Public" or "Unlisted." Note: (Optional) Upload supporting files/documents to your Google Drive and set the permission to "Anyone Can View."  Copy the link and paste it into the submission form. 

• Complete the payment via Fees & Payment . Note: Payments made are non-refundable.

• Submit the following materials through the link provided in your email

  1. Proof of payment.  Name your file in this format: [ParticipantID_i.teta.2025].

  2. Completed Extended Abstract Template (optional)

  3. YouTube video link, and/or Google Drive URL.

  4. Other Supportive Document

• A panel of expert reviewers will evaluate all submitted projects.

4. Submission 

   1. • Participants must submit their entries by the competition deadline.

      • Submissions should be made through the official competition form provided in acceptance email.

      • All submissions must be the original work of the participant and must not have been previously submitted to other competitions. Entries that contain plagiarized content or unauthorized use of copyrighted materials will be disqualified.

5. Copyright

   1. • All elements of the design must be original or used with appropriate permissions.

      • By submitting the video, the participant grants the competition organizer the right to display, share, and promote the work, with proper credit to the creator. This may include exhibition, online publications, or promotional materials.

6. Results Announcement 

• Online Participants: Results will be announced on the i-TeTa YouTube channel, website, and via email.

• All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation. Judges' decisions are final, and no appeals will be accepted.

Online Evaluation Criteria:

1. • Videos will be evaluated based on:

     • Creativity

     • Clarity of presentation

     • Technical depth and accuracy

     • Overall impact and engagement
