Welcome to "I am Jesus" (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App and uninstall it immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use this App. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App.

2. Nature of the Service & AI Disclaimer

"I am Jesus" is an application that provides daily prayers, stories, spiritual quotes, and an interactive chat interface powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Not a Sentient Being: The AI persona is an automated language model designed for reflection, inspiration, and educational purposes. It is not a sentient being, it is not divine, and it does not possess personal consciousness.
Theological & General Accuracy: Because AI generates responses dynamically, it may occasionally produce statements that are incorrect, hallucinated, or biblically inaccurate. We do not guarantee the theological or historical accuracy of the AI-generated content.
No Religious Authority: The App is not a substitute for organized religion, certified spiritual guidance, or religious authorities.

3. Uncurated Content & Translation Limitations

Uncurated Bible Verses (HelloAO API): The App utilizes the open-source HelloAO free Bible API to provide scripture. The App offers an option to turn off "curated verses," allowing the App to display any verse from the Old Testament (OT) and New Testament (NT). By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that historical biblical texts may contain descriptions of violence or mature themes.
AI Translations (Sarvam AI): The App utilizes third-party AI (Sarvam AI) to translate prayers, quotes, and verses into languages other than English. You acknowledge that AI translations may contain errors, misinterpretations, or grammatical inaccuracies. The developer assumes no liability for inaccurate AI translations.

4. No Professional or Medical Advice

The content provided in this App—including all chat responses, prayers, quotes, and stories—is strictly for personal reflection and entertainment.

It is NOT a substitute for professional advice, including medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, or legal advice.
Mental Health Crisis: If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, severe depression, or thoughts of self-harm, please contact a licensed professional, a hotline, or emergency services immediately. The AI cannot provide medical or psychological treatment.

5. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Paid Application: "I am Jesus" is a paid application. The purchase price goes toward the ongoing costs of app maintenance, server hosting, and the third-party Artificial Intelligence APIs required to generate chats, translations, and daily content.
Billing: All transactions are processed and managed by the Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store your credit card information.
Refunds: Refund requests are subject to the Google Play Store Refund Policy. You may request a refund directly through Google Play within 48 hours of purchase. Because the App incurs immediate and non-recoverable costs for AI API generation the moment you begin using it, we do not offer direct developer refunds after Google Play's 48-hour refund window has lapsed, except where required by applicable law.

6. Fair Use and Rate Limiting

To ensure the App remains affordable and functional for all users, your use of the AI chat and translation features is subject to "Fair Use." We reserve the right to implement rate limits (e.g., capping the number of messages or translations you can request per day or hour) to prevent abuse, bot activity, or excessive server and API costs. Attempting to bypass these limits or using automated scripts to interact with the App is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without a refund.

7. User Conduct & Content Reporting

When using the App, particularly the chat feature, you agree that you will not:

Use the App to generate, promote, or distribute hate speech, violence, sexually explicit material, or illegal content.
Harass, threaten, or harm other individuals.
Attempt to manipulate, hack, or disrupt the AI, third-party APIs, or the App's servers.
Use the App for commercial purposes without our explicit written consent.

Content Reporting: In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, if you encounter AI-generated content that is highly offensive or inappropriate, you may flag or report it using the provided in-app mechanisms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate our conduct rules.

8. Privacy, Data Collection, and Account Deletion

Your privacy is important to us. By using this App, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy:

Data Storage: We use Google Firebase and Firestore to securely authenticate users and store profile data, chat histories, and App preferences.
Analytics and App Improvement: To help us improve the App, identify errors, and monitor AI translation accuracy, interactions with the App (such as using the "Like" or "Dislike" buttons on verses, chats, and quotes) will transmit specific data to our Firestore database. This data includes your Firebase UUID, basic profile details, and the specific chat, verse, or prayer content you interacted with.
Right to Deletion: You have full control over your data. You may delete your account, including your profile, chat history, and all associated data inside the App, at any time using the in-app deletion feature. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

9. Third-Party Services & Service Availability

Dependence on Third Parties: The App relies on third-party services to function, including Google Firebase, Sarvam AI, and the HelloAO free Bible API. We are not responsible for the uptime, accuracy, or data handling practices of these third-party services.
Right to Modify: We do not guarantee indefinite, lifetime access to the AI services. If these third-party services change their pricing models, become unavailable, or shut down, it may directly impact our ability to keep the App running. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All original content provided within the App (excluding user-generated content, AI-generated outputs, and open-source materials like the HelloAO API), including UI design, branding, static prayers, and stories, is the property of [Your Name/Company Name]. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties: The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's availability, reliability, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the App will be free of errors, bugs, or interruptions.
