About Team:

Team 929U was founded by Andrew Zhu in his freshman year during the 2016-2017 game "Starstruck". This would be the first of many worlds appearances for the team. The next year would be the most prolific in Maryland history. With Devin Zahn driving, Zhu and a newly acquired Zach McKennedy found themselves losing only one match on the way to division champions at worlds. During this period, Sean P, Andrew C, and Thomas M were in the midst of a 9-1 worlds run, fresh off of winning the middle school state championship. They ended semifinalist, and would be absorbed by 929U entering high school for the 2018- 2019 season "Turning Point". After Zach M and Dean H graduated, members Gustavo M and Taylor B were added to the team. Gustavo was added to the team due to his fast learning of code and is well experienced with programming. Taylor B was added to the team due to her skill with the notebook. This team looks forward to a season of achievements.
