Brain-specific delivery of Therapeutic Agents

We studies novel method for treatment of brain disease such as virus infection, brain cancer and ischemic stroke. Due to difficulty in delivering therapeutic agents through blood-brain barrier, we found alternative method for brain delivery. We studies how to deliver siRNA, drug and therapeutic peptide to brain.

Invention of Novel Brain Devices

We also interested in improvment of brain research methods. We invested various devices for supporting brain delivery. The 'Jerryseat' maintaining mouse in special position called 'head-down position' improves delivery efficiency in Nose-to-Brain delivery.

Treatment of Obesity-mediated Diseases

Another our interest is obesity-mediated inflammation, specially in non-alcoholic liver steatosis. Obesity-induced inflammation occurs various disease such as diabates, liver steatosis and liver cancer. We studies how to handle obesity-mediated diseases by preventing inflammatory signaling in obese condition.
