📌 Instructions for Applicants

Application Portal

All applications must be submitted online through the official OGONI Scholarship portal.

Applicants are required to fill out the application form and upload all necessary supporting documents.

Required Documents (scanned and uploaded in PDF format)

Admission letter from a recognized university (M.Sc. or Ph.D.). note: Centre admission that is not from graduate school will not be accepted.

Curriculum Vitae (CV).

 Letter from HOD

Evidence of OGONI origin (LGA Identification).

Recent passport photograph.


Instructions Before Filling the Form:

Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria.

Prepare scanned copies of required documents (PDF ≤1MB).

Fill all mandatory fields (marked with *).

You will receive a confirmation email with your Application ID after submission.


Submission Guidelines

Ensure all required fields are completed before submission.

Incomplete applications or applications without required documents will not be considered.

Each applicant is allowed only one entry; multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.


Review and Selection

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email and/or phone for the next stage of screening.

Final awardees will be selected based on merit.


Important Notes

The scholarship is non-transferable and applies only to the program and institution stated in the application.


🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the OGONI Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:

Be an indigene of Ogoni, verified with proper documentation.

Have gained admission into a recognized university for a full-time postgraduate program (M.Sc. or Ph.D.).

Demonstrate strong academic potential and commitment to contributing to the socio-economic development of Ogoni land.

Be within the age limit of (45years) for MSc and (55years for PhD) at the time of application.

The Criteria for those that have gotten the Scholarship before:

For a person that got the last scholarship as a MSc. student and is now pursuing a PhD is qualified to apply.

But not a person doing the same program (MSc. or PhD)
