1. Who is eligible to apply for the scholarship?

Only indigenes of Ogoni who have secured admission into a recognized university for full-time postgraduate studies (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) are eligible.


2. Can I apply if I am still waiting for admission?

No. You must provide a valid admission letter from a recognized institution before you can apply.


3. Is there an age limit?

Yes. Applicants must be within the age limit of (45years) for MSc and (55years for PhD) age at the time of application.


4. Can I apply if I am already on another scholarship?

No. Beneficiaries of another full postgraduate scholarship are not eligible to apply.


5. How many times can I apply?

Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.


6. Will there be interviews or screening?

Yes. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further screening or interviews as part of the selection process.


7. What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship may cover tuition fees, research support, and/or living expenses depending on available funds. The exact benefits will be communicated to successful applicants.


8. How will I know if I am selected?

Successful candidates will be notified via email and/or phone call after the review process. Updates will also be posted on the official scholarship portal.


9. Can I defer my scholarship if I am awarded?

No. The scholarship is non-transferable and must be used for the program and academic year stated in the application
