UPDATE 3.11 "THE UPDATE OF COLOR"
IN THIS UPDATE, WE REVAMPED THE HYPERRUSH MAP TO INCLUDE MORE COLOR SCHEMES TO MOTIVATE PLAYERS TO PLAY ON THE MAP MORE. THE NEW COLORS ARE MORE MOTIVATING, LESS DISTRACTING AND MUCH MORE VIBRANT.
MAP CHANGES:

THE AFTERMATH IS WHAT IS LEFT OF A SCIENCE EXPERIMENT TRYING TO FUSE THE NETHER AND THE OVERWORLD. INSIDE IS A NETHER FOREST ATRIUM WITH 2 TELEPORTERS INSIDE IT. THERES A LOT OF DIFFERENT ELEVATIONS YOU CAN GET UP ON. OUR MAP DESIGNER ALSO MADE SURE TO MAKE IT AS COLORFUL AS POSSIBLE. THE TELEPORTER TAKES YOU ON TOP OF THE CROWN AT MID.

MAP CHANGES:
MID REVAMP
THE MIDDLE OF THE MAP IS WHERE STATISTICALLY THE MOST FIGHTS OCCUR ACCORDING TO OUR DATA. USING THIS KNOWLEDGE, WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY MANY ISSUES WITH THE CURRENT AREA, WHICH GAVE US A REASON TO REVAMP IT. THE MAIN ISSUE WE HAD WITH IT WAS THE HIGH RISK LOW REWARD FACTOR. THE CROWN, WHICH WAS A POWERFUL HELMET GRANTING ITS WEARER POWERS AND PROTECTION TURNED OUT TO BE A DEATHTRAP FOR THOSE ATTEMPTING TO GET IT. PRODUCING TOO MUCH RISK FOR TOO LOW OF A REWARD. WE ALSO THINK THAT MID DOES NOT ENCOURAGE ENOUGH LONG-RANGE FIGHTS, THANKS TO THE BUBBLE COLUMNS AND THE STRUCTURE IN THE MIDDLE. WE HAVE REVAMPED IT AND REPLACED IT WITH THE STATUE OF THE UNKNOWN USER. A HYPERRUSH USER WHO DIED WHEN THE VIRTUAL WORLD WAS HACKED AND SHUT DOWN. WHEN THIS OCCURRED, CASUALTY REPORTS SUGGEST AROUND 150,000 PEOPLE DIED DURING THIS EVENT. NOBODY KNOWS WHO THE UNKNOWN USER IS, WHICH IS WHY THE STATUE SIGNIFIES MYSTERY.
HYPERVENTS
PREVIOUSLY SEEN IN KORICA CITY, PLANET KORICA AND THE NEO GROVE, THESE SMALL, 3X3 WATER TUNNELS ALLOW YOU TO SAFELY, AND EFFECTIVELY MOVE THROUGHOUT THE MAP WITHOUT RISKING HEALTH. THEY CAN BE ENTERED THROUGH 3 MAIN ENTRANCES, BUT YOU CAN ALSO JUMP OFF TOWERS TO GET INSIDE. THERE IS ALSO NO GLASS, WHICH MEANS YOU CAN EXIT ANYWHERE. THE INSIDE OF THE VENTS SLOW DOWN INCOMING ARROWS BY 70%, ALLOWING YOU TO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT TAKING DAMAGE WHILE INSIDE. BECAUSE WE DON’T WANT PLAYERS TO USE THIS AS A “GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD” AND CAMP IN THEM, WE HAVE MADE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE HYBRID BOW, WHICH MAKES IT EASIER TO WEED PLAYERS OUT WHO ARE INSIDE.
THE FORTIFIED MEMORIAL
THIS AREA REMEMBERS ALL BUILDERS WHO WORKED ON KORICA IN THE PAST 7 YEARS. WE WANT TO REMEMBER THOSE WHO DEDICATED THEIR TIME TO HELP MAKE WHAT USED TO BE KORICA GREAT, AND INNOVATING FUTURE PROJECTS WITH A MEMORIAL. THIS CASTLE, WHICH HAS LOTS OF ELEVATION, IS GREAT FOR CAT AND MOUSE CHASE FIGHTS. YOU CAN GO ON TOP OF THE CRANE WHICH IS BUILDING A STATUE OF OSULLY, TO GET MAJOR HIGH GROUND AND SCOUT OUT AREAS TO ROTATE TO. THE AREA HAS A QUITE OPEN FEEL TO IT, WHICH ALLOWS ENGAGING PLAYERS TO BE MORE SIMPLISTIC.
THE ETHER PORT
A SMALL, DENSE PARK WITH ETHER BLOCKS THAT VARY IN SIZE AND HEIGHT. WE REPLACED A RAILWAY TOWER WITH THIS, WHICH ALLOWS FOR MORE CLOSE RANGE FIGHTS. THE ETHER PEGS CAN BE CLIMBED AND RAN AROUND, WHICH MAKES A GREAT SPOT TO ESCAPE A FIGHT.
THE ROBOT FACTORY
WE HAVE REPLACED DRYWALL ISLAND WITH THE ROBOT FACTORY, A RECTANGULAR FACTORY THAT BUILDS HACKBOTS.™ INSIDE THE FACTORY IS 2 CONVEYOR BELTS, WHICH DON’T PROVIDE ANY COVER. WATCH OUT FOR FIGHTS INSIDE OF HERE, THEY CAN GET CLOSE, LONG AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN.
MINOR MAP CHANGES
CRACKED PILLARS
TWO PILLARS HAVE BEEN PLACED NEAR THE MIDDLE OF THE MAP TO ENCOURAGE CLOSER RANGE FIGHTS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE MAP, BECAUSE THE HYPERSCAPER IS THERE, WE CAN’T HAVE TOO MANY LONGER RANGE FIGHTS AS PLAYERS WOULD BE FORCED TO RETREAT EITHER WEST OR EAST, NOT TOWARDS THE HYPERSCAPER, WHICH IS A COLDER AREA THIS ACT.
GOLD ISLAND
A SMALL, SQUARE-SHAPED ISLAND THAT CAN BE USED TO PARKOUR FROM THE HYPERSCAPER TO THE FORTIFIED MEMORIAL.
PEG ISLAND
ISLAND WITH PEGS USED TO TRAVEL OVER THE VOID BETWEEN THE PORTAL AND DRYWALL ISLAND. THERE ARE PEGS JUST OFF THE EDGE OF THE ISLAND.
ISLAND CORNERS
WE’VE FIXED A FEW CORNERS ON THE ISLAND THAT WOULD LEAVE YOU WITH A LARGE FALL INTO THE VOID BECAUSE THE OTHER SIDE IS HIDDEN BEHIND A WALL. WE HAVE RESOLVED THIS.
WEAPON CHANGES
HYBRID CROSSBOW
THE HYBRID CROSSBOW HAS BEEN A DOMINANT PICK IN COMPETITIVE AND CASUAL PLAY, AND IT IS RIGHT WHERE WE WANT IT TO BE. THIS EPISODE, WE INTRODUCED HYPERVENTS, WHICH CAN CAUSE CAMPING ISSUES. WE HAVE INCREASED THE KNOCKBACK BY 10% TO LET PLAYERS KNOCK OTHERS OUT OF THE VENTS.
KNOCKBACK DAMAGE +10%
LONGSHOT CROSSBOW
THE LONGSHOT IS IN A DECENT SPOT, BUT IS BEING OVERSHADOWED BY THE ODIN. WE HAVE DECIDED TO REWORK THE STATISTICS OF THIS CROSSBOW. WE HAVE ALSO TWEAKED IT IN A SINGLEPLAYER WORLD TO MAKE THE ARROWS DISABLE OUTGOING DAMAGE FROM ENEMIES. THESE CHANGES ABIDE BY PHANATICMC’S RULES.

Update 1.4
Increased Longshot Damage by 10%
Fixed an issue where you wouldn't die when you fell into the Void.
Fixed and issue where lag would occur near the HyperRush Portal.
Changed Color Fidelity to be more relaxing on the eyes and to make opponents not blend in with the surroundings, even with diamond armor.

Episode 2 Update
Map Changes
Improved Fidelity to make seeing water on the top of buildings easier on the eyes and also easier to see.
Removed a few corners from Drywall Island to make running through it easier, helping fulfill our purpose of a fast-paced game.
Added a few extra spots on the bridges to run on, making them less narrow.
Weapon Changes
Removed The Bazooka from Public Matches
Colorful, fun, explosive. The Bazooka was a weapon that had a clear purpose in HyperRush, to contest and initiate fights and angles. It's unique ammo type made it hard to understand for new players. It's rockets also added another item to the bow pool which overcomplicated the game. The Bazooka will still be available in Private, Custom and Tournament matches but for Public Games it is out of the bow pool. It's rockets can be used on other weapons now, removing the need for a standalone weapon.
The Odin
Charge Time: Decreased Damage: Decreased Durability: Increased
The Odin is a very strong, assault-rifle like weapon. It's fast charge time and high damage make it a popular pick among players, but it's charge time and damage make it too similar to the Longshot, we want each bow to feel unique, but the Odin was too much like an all-range weapon. We have slightly tweaked the damage and Charge Time.
New Crossbow: Hybrid
An all-in-one crossbow, this bow deals high melee damage, allowing it to be used effectively in close-quarters. It deals high long-range damage with a decent charge time. There are many different ways to use this bow.
Bug Fixes Fixed an issue with Rubber-Banding when jumping off the Hyper Scaper. This was caused by many entities in the water below, such as fish, kelp and seagrass.
Update 1.6
In this update we introduce 2 new areas on SkyChain that will help expand the battle to new parts of the map. The Archives:
Only accessible via a portal, the Archives is a simulated floating island with lots of books and knowledge on it. This area was created to help encourage players to visit the left side of SkyChain.
Crown Island: A small island off the side of A Teleporter, it can be used to reposition or to run away. It is a 5x5 crown on a small island.
1.6 Technical Changes: A Site Teleporter now takes you to the Archives instead of the SkyHall.
The Teleporter on the Archives will now redirect you to the SkyHall.
Changed how the Sky Launchers work, instead of bubbles taking you up, you will have to swim up from 3/4 to the top to help you choose where you want to land.
Added extra space on Teleporter Platforms so you don't fall into the Void.
Update 1.5.1
We have added The HyperRush Crown to normal modes. Grab the crown in the middle of SkyChain to get major protection buffs to help fend off enemies, but be careful, getting the crown isn't an easy task. Also revamped the HyperRush spawn area for visual clarity and to help new Gladiators understand how to play. Added 1 new building to add an extra drop spot. Removed the lava at the bottom of the map and replaced it with the "Void." Don't fall in, you will die. Added more ladders to get up to the HyperQuake Express. QOL Changes (Quality of Life) Bazooka Rockets are NOW only usable by the Bazooka, if they are used with a Trishot, you will be voided. Added ladders to help players get up after falling off the hills. More LORE coming soon!
Open Beta Launch
HyperRush Open Beta has begun. Test out our new map, SkyChain and fight it out against your enemies in our new gamemode, Crown War! New Map: SkyChain As we announced a few days ago, SkyChain is our new map and it allows for longer-range fights to happen, unlike our previous map. You will notice more use of the Tap Rifle and Longshot on this map. This map gives you 3 boosts depending on which side of the island you are on. Low Gravity (Island-Wide) Resistance (Island-Wide) Speed I (Left Side) Speed II (Right Side) We are also introducing a new Crossbow, the Bazooka. It's colorful explosions deal major damage and can 2 shot with a non-direct hit. Hitting yourself, however can result in an instant and quick death. It is best used as a longer range weapon to use around corners or at distance. Crown War is our new LTM that lets players fight for dominance over The Crown. A futuristic crown that grants players special powers like speed and jump boosts. If you get the crown, you are a major advantage. But can the rest of the players work together to take you down?
Update 1.3
HyperQuake Express! Hop onto the HyperQuake Express! A train that constantly runs around SkyChain. You can use it to escape a fight, to reposition or to celebrate a win! It only has room for one player so you can't use it in Duos. We've also made major improvements to the map's terrain to make it more flat and easier to traverse. You will have a harder time falling in the lava now.
Update 1.2.5
Flatted majority of the ground to make fights more similar to La Primera. Added more protection from falling off the edge into the lava Removed major hills and bumps.
Update 1.2
We've made a few changes to how the Bazooka and the Rockets work. Now, rockets can only be used on the Bazooka. We were noticing players using the Trishot to triple shoot rockets which was an instant kill. We've now made it a rule that using rockets on these weapons is prohibited. We've also increased the base damage on the rockets by 20% and increased the range by 25%. Other Changes: On the new map, the Trishot struggles due to long-range combat. We've reverted it back to it's Beta Version (Super OP) to help it compete with the other weapons. We've increased the Tap Rifle's Charge time by 10% which makes it a mid-range BEAST. The Longshot will remain untouched as it is in a great spot currently.
Also note that resistance and regeneration effects now passively run in the background to help counter high damaging weapons and slow healing times with the new QuakeKelp.
Episode 1: Act 2 Launch
In this update, we introduce a new crossbow named the Rocket Launcher, a new map SkyChain, a BUNCH of new features and HUGE meta changes. Use the Rocket Launcher's strong, explosive rockets to deal major area damage from a range. Despite it's high damage, it struggles at close range due to it damaging it's user unless you hide behind an angle. We are also balancing weapons and the meta as always. We have removed QuakeSteak and replaced it with QuakeKelp. Not only does it sound better, it helps balance the meta which heavily revolved around going around a corner and eating a steak to get max health. We have buffed the Tap Rifle by 10% in all categories. We have given the Longshot exclusive tracer arrows which reveal your enemy for 10 seconds after hitting them. Our goal with the Longshot is to reward accuracy with intel. This pairs very well with the Rocket Launcher as you can see where your enemies are and then shoot the rocket near them. We've added a new set of teleporters. In the next few days, we will release JUMP PADS. Run up to one to get thrusted 5-7 blocks in the air without taking major fall damage. Come to /warp Quake to see ALL the changes.
If we notice that the Rocket Launcher becomes too strong we will reduce it's damage. We currently think it could use a slight area damage buff as it currently doesnt have much area damage (1 block) we are probably going to increase it to 2 or 3 block area damage, which means it doesnt need a direct hit to deal damage.
SkyChain Launch Update (1.1)

Quake: Episode I Ascencion is here! Here's what's new: Teleporters: A new way to get from point A to B fast. Use the teleporter in the La Primera Cathedral to get to the Fish Market unscathed! Building Changes:
Reverted Change to wall textures (Concrete -> Terracotta) Added 5 new islands, each with different houses and places to explore. They can be used to get a better angle on someone, or to escape.
Added the Toolsmith Need arrows mid-round? The toolsmith has set up shop on a floating island and gives out free Quake arrows! Please him and you have a chance to get Poison Quake Arrows!
Meta and Crossbow Changes: Renamed the Quickshot to the Breach Bow
