Developer Notes are where our developers write the thought process on how they made a certain weapon, map change, concept or something else. If you want to get a behind the scenes look on how we operate HyperRush, your in the right place.
Dev Notes: SkyChain
SkyChain is a map built for cat and mouse fights and fast-paced gameplay. Read the blog HERE to read about how we made it and what makes it so good.
Dev Notes: Trishot Crossbow
The Trishot is a close-range, high damage crossbow that excels in closer range fights. We originally playtested it in May of 2020, its name was The Guardian and we had many issues, the main issue was it's effectiveness on our old map, La Primera. The map had no longer range areas and made all fights close range. This is one of the reasons of why we released SkyChain after our beta. The Trishot on SkyChain is much less effective, but we have tweaked it to give it more mid-range effectiveness, while maintaining it's deadly close-range damage. When we launched our first major update after the closed beta, we nerfed the Trishot heavily. We ended up reverting it to it's closed beta state to help it be a contending crossbow on the new map. The Trishot is an effective weapon if used right.

Dev Notes: HyperRush On Other Servers / Games
We have been planning on releasing a HyperRush server or map for a while. We are almost done with finishing this but there are a few more things we need to do. We have been experimenting on Roblox, Unity and Singleplayer Minecraft.
La Primera
La Primera was our first map and it included close corridors and not much long range fights. We designed it to be for close-range fights. Our original goal for HyperRush was for it to be a close-range only game, but as time went on, we realised that with weapons like the Trishot, the map wouldn't work. You can visit the map at /warp Ghostfield or, go underneath the HyperRush map.

Update 3.11 UPDATE OF COLOR
In the HYPERRUSH Arena, something that has been lacking for a long time is color. Our buildings often follow the same blue and white color scheme. In the new update, 3.11, we have added grass on the surface, new colors to buildings, nether trees and much more. We found our map to be somewhat unmotivating after a while, especially at first glance. Here's what it looks like now:
