The meeting was a successful step towards bridging the international gap in the FTC community!
In collaboration with the University of Texas at Dallas, we hosted an international live presentation on August 17 detailing our team's Center Stage robot design process, as well as how our final outtake design worked. Attendees of the workshop and hundreds of viewers of the presentation on Youtube gained valuable insight applicable to their own future FTC designs.
From July 31st to August 4th, 2023, a heartwarming story unfolded in rural Linnei, Taiwan. An impactful summer camp for underprivileged children was orchestrated, leaving an enduring mark on 50 students and volunteers. Four engaging sessions were guided and designed by dedicated team member Patrick, delving into LEGO and diverse STEM subjects. Beyond his own contributions, Patrick's collaborative spirit shone as he supported fellow volunteers, enriching the collective experience. This transformative week sparked curiosity, empowerment, and camaraderie, leaving an inspiring legacy etched in the hearts of all involved.
There are a lot of people interested in robotics all around the world, but many of them don't know about the FIRST program. We hosted a FIRST introduction session to help spread the word about robotics competitions to interested students in India.
