PJT13. ChoreoCraft: In-situ Crafting of Choreography in Virtual Reality through Creativity Support Tool
Choreographers face increasing pressure to create content rapidly, driven by growing demand in social media, entertainment, and commercial sectors, often compromising creativity. This study introduces ChoreoCraft, a novel in-situ virtual reality (VR) choreographic system designed to enhance the creation process of choreography. Through contextual inquiries with professional choreographers, we identified key challenges such as memory dependency, creative plateaus, and abstract feedback to formulate design implications. Then, we propose a VR choreography creation system embedded with a context-aware choreography suggestion system and a choreography analysis system, all grounded in choreographers’ creative processes and mental models.

PJT10. Medical Diagnosis Decision-Making Pipeline Using RAG-LLM-Search Engine
Project of [KAIST X Upstage] Full-Stack LLM Project Course with Solar
Medical diagnosis should comprehensively consider the patient's medical history and background. These diagnoses are based on clinical results and theoretical grounds reported in academic medical reports. This project aims to build a system to assist individuals in performing preliminary medical diagnoses. By using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and supplementing it with information from LLM (Large Language Model) engines and search engines, the system can reflect a broader range of information for more accurate medical diagnosis decisions.

This study develops a user preference-based dance learning content generation algorithm and researches interface technologies that enhance the flexibility of the learning experience. Specifically, it aims to: (1) generate personalized dance learning content using machine learning and optimize learning scenarios based on user-centered design methodologies; (2) develop a learning content generation algorithm; and (3) enhance user experience in dance learning through the implementation of interfaces that increase the flexibility of the learning experience.
PJT7. Creating Dance Learning Content Tailored to User Preferences and Providing Effective Learning Experiences Utilizing Affordance in Augmented Reality
Term Project of [CTP445] Augmented Reality (Spring, 2024; KAIST)
PJT6. Real-time Visual and Haptic Guidance System for Golf Swing in Virtual Reality
Term Project of [GCT565] Augmented Humans (Fall, 2023; KAIST)
YOLY(You Only Look at Yourself) is a real-time visual and haptic guidance system for golf swing in virtual reality. Users can correct their posture according to the first-person and third-person perspectives displayed on the virtual screen seen through the Head-Mounted Display (HMD). The virtual screen corresponds with the user’s head movements, mitigating the “look-aways” phenomenon. Additionally, in accordance with related research, we divided the training sessions into a practice phase and a full-swing phase. The practice phase comprises seven stages: address, back-swing, top-of-swing, down-swing, impact, follow-through, and finish. We selected four steps before impact. Each phase gives the user visual guidance and haptic feedback in real-time.

PJT5. ZooBlox: Smart Block Toys Enhancing Children's Imagination with Generative AI
Term Project of [GCT501] Introduction to Culture Technology (Fall, 2023; KAIST)
The project focuses on enhancing children’s creativity by enabling them to construct imaginary animals using physical blocks and digital technology. In this application, generative AI plays a pivotal role in transforming these creations into virtual beings within a digital zoo, encouraging imagination, confidence, and technological familiarity in children. This innovative approach, merging physical play with AI technology, promotes creativity and prepares children for future technological landscapes.
