About Me

I am a master's student in Human-Centered Interactive Technologies Laboratory at the Graduate School of Culture Technology, KAIST under the supervision of Prof. Sang Ho Yoon. I received a B.S. in Engineering(Interdisciplinary) degree from DGIST.

I aim to deeply commit to pioneering efforts that enhance seamless interactions between products or services and users at the endpoints, applying cutting-edge technologies. My research interests lie in creating and augmenting user experiences that transcend spatial and temporal constraints, enabling the enjoyment of a diverse range of entertainment activities. I aspire to conduct research that is both delightful and enriching for all parties involved, including both the target users and the researchers.

Projects

PJT9. Medical Diagnosis Decision-Making Pipeline Using RAG-LLM-Search Engine

Project of [KAIST X Upstage] Full-Stack LLM Project Course with Solar

Medical diagnosis should comprehensively consider the patient's medical history and background. These diagnoses are based on clinical results and theoretical grounds reported in academic medical reports. This project aims to build a system to assist individuals in performing preliminary medical diagnoses. By using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and supplementing it with information from LLM (Large Language Model) engines and search engines, the system can reflect a broader range of information for more accurate medical diagnosis decisions.

PJT8. Research of User Preference Based Algorithm for Generating Dance Learning Contents and Interface for Greater Learning Experience Freedom

Granted by National Research Foundation of Korea, (July 2024 - June 2025)

(유저 선호 기반 댄스 학습 컨텐츠 생성 알고리즘 개발 및 학습 경험의 자유도 증진 인터페이스 기술 연구)

Principal Investigator

This study develops a user preference-based dance learning content generation algorithm and researches interface technologies that enhance the flexibility of the learning experience. Specifically, it aims to: (1) generate personalized dance learning content using machine learning and optimize learning scenarios based on user-centered design methodologies; (2) develop a learning content generation algorithm; and (3) enhance user experience in dance learning through the implementation of interfaces that increase the flexibility of the learning experience.

PJT7. AfforDance: Creating Dance Learning Content Tailored to User Preferences and Providing Effective Learning Experiences Utilizing Affordance in Augmented Reality

Term Project of [CTP445] Augmented Reality (Spring, 2024; KAIST)

PJT6. You Only Look at Yourself: Real-time Visual and Haptic Guidance System for Golf Swing in Virtual Reality

Term Project of [GCT565] Augmented Humans (Fall, 2023; KAIST)

YOLY(You Only Look at Yourself) is a real-time visual and haptic guidance system for golf swing in virtual reality. Users can correct their posture according to the first-person and third-person perspectives displayed on the virtual screen seen through the Head-Mounted Display (HMD). The virtual screen corresponds with the user’s head movements, mitigating the “look-aways” phenomenon. Additionally, in accordance with related research, we divided the training sessions into a practice phase and a full-swing phase. The practice phase comprises seven stages: address, back-swing, top-of-swing, down-swing, impact, follow-through, and finish. We selected four steps before impact. Each phase gives the user visual guidance and haptic feedback in real-time.

PJT5. ZooBlox: Smart Block Toys Enhancing Children's Imagination with Generative AI

Term Project of [GCT501] Introduction to Culture Technology  (Fall, 2023; KAIST)

ZooBlox is an innovative project that integrates smart block toys with a tablet application powered by generative AI, aiming to revolutionize the way children engage with toys and technology. The project focuses on enhancing children’s creativity by enabling them to construct imaginary animals using physical blocks and digital technology. In this application, generative AI plays a pivotal role in transforming these creations into virtual beings within a digital zoo, encouraging imagination, confidence, and technological familiarity in children. This innovative approach, merging physical play with AI technology, promotes creativity and prepares children for future technological landscapes.

PJT4. Real-time Virtual Convergence-based Performing Arts Education Platform Technology

Granted by Culture Technology R&D, Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), (April 2023 - December 2025)

(실시간 실가상 융합 기반 공연예술 교육 플랫폼 기술개발 · Collaborated with ETRI, 1Million, EBS)

Researcher

Establishing a real-time interaction-based education platform such as real-virtual convergence interaction, motion similarity measurement, and interaction application content authoring so that it can be used simultaneously for body motion-based performing arts experience and practice to learn the results.

PJT3. NFT Project: [HAJUNGWOO X SUPERNORMAL] by AVANT GARDE

Litepaper · Opensea

Product Manager

This project is Avant Garde’s first PFP collection. A limited edition line of PFP NFTs inspired by the work of renowned Korean artist Jungwoo Ha. The collection was generated with more than 500 unique wearable items, each curated with Ha Jung Woo’s signature style. With only 978 NFTs available, this collection offers a rare opportunity to own a unique piece of art that has the touch of both Ha Jung Woo and SuperNormal. Avant Garde designs and produces digital fashion NFTs which can be worn in any type of digital world such as metaverses and online games.

PJT2. Development of Applications to Help Explore and Validate Sustainable Cryptocurrency Projects

Term Project of Field Application of Blockchain I (Spring, 2022; SNU)

Team Lead

We quantified how healthy the community is, and presented it along with the price data of a specific project so that the data acts as a major factor in users’ investment. In addition, the {on, off} Chain data of the Crypto project was visually shown to help intuitive understanding. UX improvement was promoted by using a chatbot so that it could be viewed momentarily in the messenger. This project is implemented in Python and Dune Analytics.
