About Me
About Me
Hyunyoung (Hyun-young) is a Ph.D. student in WIT Lab at the School of Electrical Engineering, KAIST, working with Ian Oakley.
His research focuses on designing interactive systems and entertainment computing grounded in user-centered design methodologies. He is particularly interested in developing experiences that are not only engaging and accessible for users but also impactful for researchers and practitioners. He received his master's degree from KAIST (advised by Sang Ho Yoon) and his bachelor's degree from DGIST.
He was a recipient of a master's research grant from the NRF of Korea (2024-2025) and received an Honorable Mention at CHI (2025).
