It was such a valuable course, not only teaching general concepts and ideas about strategic management but also hearing a lot of discussion regarding various case studies throughout the course. A very intriguing course structured around case studies. Very well structured and easy to transition from lecture to lecture because the topics are all interconnected. Cases are interesting and students are able to learn a lot from them. Discussion is abundant during class and students get to learn from the professor but also fellow students and share ideas. Learned a lot about strategy that I believe I will be able to transfer what I learned to different courses. Just the right mix of conceptual/theory lessons and real–life examples!
Professor Lee provided an atmosphere where we can all suggest our opinions and really learn the methods instead of memorizing examples. This was clearly shown on exams where the questions were applications of concepts instead of memorizing examples like many other management courses are.
