PUWER

The Provision and Use of Work Regulations (PUWER) require all workplaces to ensure their equipment is suitable and safe for its intended use.   More specifically, it requires responsible people and operators to inspect and maintain equipment in order to detect and address any potential issues, please complete the checklist on the first working day of each week.  If any equipment is not suitable for purpose this should not be used, and once submitted should be backed up with a phone call to your line manager.
