Beta Coefficient

QGIS Beta coefficient by Teo Samuel

This Drive link contains a folder with the Beta coefficient of the river catchment (made as a shapefile). It was created using the CORINE Land Cover data.

β=0.9  for forests and inland wetlands (code 311, 312, 313, 324)

β=1.0  for agricultural and industrial zones, buildings (code 112, 121, 212, 231, 242, 243, 321)

β=1.2  for exposed surfaces with sparse or no vegetation, open-pit mines, and dumps (code 131)
