Greeting! I am a Senior Research Fellow at Columbia Business School, where I lead research for the Climate Knowledge Initiative. My work integrates economics, finance, and policy to address urgent climate challenges and support a just, effective transition to a low-carbon economy. Through an interdisciplinary lens, I explore the complex interactions between natural and social systems to inform decarbonization strategies and sustainable development pathways.
I hold a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. I served as a Research Fellow at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment - a joint center of Columbia Columbia Climate School - focusing on sustainable finance and climate-aligned investment strategies.
Before joining Columbia, I worked with African Development Bank and PwC. Additionally, I was a Research Fellow in Innovation Economics at Berlin University of Technology. I hold a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering and an M.S. in Technology Management, Economics, and Policy from Seoul National University.Â
