Greetings! I am an economist and policy researcher working at the intersection of AI infrastructure, energy systems, and climate finance. My research examines how large-scale transitions — the rise of digital infrastructure, electrification, and industrial decarbonization — reshape investment frameworks and the policy choices facing governments, firms, and financial institutions.
I hold a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University, where I also served as a Senior Research Fellow at Columbia Business School's Climate Knowledge Initiative and a Post-Graduate Research Fellow at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment within Columbia Climate School. My research spans clean energy economics, sustainable finance, climate risk in urban and global markets.
Before Columbia, I worked with the African Development Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers on energy, climate, and sustainability engagements across Asia and Africa. I hold a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering and an M.S. in Technology Management, Economics, and Policy from Seoul National University.
