I grew up in Ontario, Canada, and was lucky enough to have been involved in music all my life. Music is a constant in my family, and it was bound to get me in the end! So here I am...
I started with the violin at an early age, then added choral and solo singing to my list slightly later. The leadership opportunities and the chance to visit far-flung places from these experiences were invaluable.
I spent a number of years pursuing other interests, until...
...2020 hit.
What a unique opportunity this has been to rediscover my musical roots and branch out into areas I never thought I would ever visit! I never dreamed I would develop an interest in editing and assembling audio tracks and videos, but my YouTube channel has over 100 videos on it now and there are generally at least six more that need finishing at any given point.
When I'm not singing I enjoy reading, travelling, hanging out at the farm (have you ever fed a cow a marshmallow? I have!) and cross-stitching.
Out for a run with a "senior citizen".
My finished cross-stitch work.
Because, why NOT dress up as a Christmas tree for a fancy ball??
Cows + marshmallows. A match made in heaven. Who knew?
Despite appearances, camel-wrangling is NOT one of my skills!
My very first violin (a gift from Santa). Yes, they do make them that small!
A trip to the desert during my stay in Saudi Arabia.
Got to participate in an Ojibway circle dance once.
