Our high-voltage switching simulators provide realistic training in a controlled simulation environment, allowing operators to develop and practise the skills, knowledge and decision-making required to safely switch and operate in a substation.
By bringing realistic switching and SCADA interactions into the training environment, HV Simulators allows organisations to prepare their people for real-world operations before they encounter them in the field.
Simulators are available to service the power, mining, water and transport industries.
BRING REALISM TO YOUR TRAINING PROGRAM
Flexible acquisition options are available, with simulators offered for outright purchase or through a lease arrangement to suit your organisation's needs. Your organisation retains control of training delivery and competency management, with our equipment providing the tools to support effective, realistic and repeatable training.
Take realistic high-voltage switching training anywhere with our fully mobile simulation unit.

~ COMING SOON ~
Practise voltage regulation, control and system response without the risks of live network operations.
The HV Substation Pro Mobile enables you to bring realistic, hands-on high-voltage switching training to your workforce — whether at an operational site, a training depot or inside a classroom.
Combining a compact, transportable design with low power requirements and flexible display options, it offers a practical training solution without being tied to a permanent facility.
TAKE TRAINING ON THE ROAD
Take your high-voltage switching training wherever it's needed with this vehicle-transportable switching simulator.
Measuring just 1000mm × 800mm × 230mm deep, the HV Substation Pro Mobile fits into a standard ute fitted with an enclosed canopy and lift-up side doors, or a work van.
With such a compact footprint, you can easily transport the unit between training centres, operational depots and work sites, bringing practical switching training closer to your workforce.
FROM VEHICLE TO CLASSROOM
Designed for practical portability, the unit can be carried by two people and easily moved into a classroom or training room.
Connect it to a larger screen or monitor to make the simulator display easier for multiple students to view, supporting group instruction, demonstrations and collaborative learning.
Whether delivering hands-on training to an individual or demonstrating switching operations to a group, the HV Substation Pro Mobile adapts to your training environment.
LOW POWER REQUIREMENT
Despite its sophisticated training capabilities, the HV Substation Pro Mobile uses only 65W of power, making it a low-power solution that complements its portable design.
Its low power requirements allow it to be powered by standard vehicle inverters, providing greater flexibility to deliver realistic switching training at remote locations and wherever training is needed.
ONE SIMULATOR. MULTIPLE TRAINING ENVIRONMENTS
From operational sites and regional depots to dedicated classrooms and training facilities, the HV Substation Pro Mobile gives you the flexibility to deliver realistic switching training wherever it's needed.

A larger panel than our mobile unit, the HV Substation Pro uses contactors as well as relays to allow the use of real low voltage supply through the unit.
This makes the simulator able to be the main LV or ELV feed into a live switching shed, the same as a substation would in a town.
Building on all the features and inclusions of the HV Substation Pro Mobile, the HV Substation Pro takes realistic switching training a step further.
Featuring a larger panel and incorporating both contactors and relays, the HV Substation Pro allows for integration with a real low-voltage (LV) or extra-low-voltage (ELV) domestic supply, enabling the simulator to distribute power to the training facility, replicating the way a real substation supplies downstream infrastructure.
The result is a more comprehensive and realistic training environment, allowing trainees to experience switching operations within a setup that more closely reflects the practical operation of an actual network.
All the capabilities of the Mobile Unit — with an added level of network realism extending beyond the switching panel itself.
UNDERSTAND SYSTEM RESPONSE.
Develop practical voltage regulation skills in a safe, controlled training environment, without the risks associated with live voltage regulator switching.
The HV Simulators Field Voltage Regulation Panel simulates the operation of a field voltage regulator, allowing trainees to practise regulator switching procedures required to prepare a regulator for bypass.
Using a simulated, varying input voltage to replicate real field conditions, the panel responds to incoming simulated source voltage and automatically raises or lowers taps, adjusting the output voltage to maintain regulation within a preset output bandwidth. Trainees can observe changes in source voltage, load voltage and tap position, helping them understand regulator behaviour and practise the switching procedures required to prepare a regulator for bypass.
The Field Voltage Regulation Panel provides a range of controls and indications to replicate key aspects of field voltage regulator operation.
OPERATING MODES
Automatic Mode: Full automatic voltage regulation, with the regulator adjusting tap position to maintain the output within the set bandwidth.
Manual Mode: Automatic regulation is disabled, allowing the trainee to control tap position manually.
Manual Tap Raise and Lower: Practise changing tap positions and observe the resulting system response.
VISUAL INDICATION AND MONITORING
Tap Position Dial: Displays buck tap, boost tap and neutral tap positions.
Digital Display: Shows tap position, source voltage and load voltage.
Automatic Mode Indicator LED: Indicates when automatic regulation is selected.
Manual Mode Indicator LED: Indicates when manual operation is selected.
Neutral Tap Indicator LED: Identifies when the regulator is in the neutral tap position.
Tap Change in Progress LED: Identifies when the regulator is changing taps.
By combining realistic regulator controls, voltage variation and visible system response, the Field Voltage Regulation Panel helps trainees develop an understanding of voltage regulation principles and practise the switching procedures required to prepare a regulator for bypass.
Realistic simulation. Practical skill development. No live network switching required.
