In early 2021, Hopewell Senior, Caleb Briggs noticed something disturbing: Hopewell Valley Central High School was without a Lettuce Club. Seeking to rectify this, Briggs asked Mr White to be this club's adviser and drafted what would become the HV Lettuce Club Charter. With the help of his Vice President, Alex Scott, the charter became the basis for what the club abides by to this day. Soon after, he filed the paperwork to become an officially-sanctioned club and received administrative approval on March 4, 2021.
