The Founders: Rich and Thomas
Meeting in their freshman year, Rich and Thomas immediately bonded over their love for cooking. They both agreed to join a culinary club together, and upon searching, were heartbroken to find there was none. Thus sparked the idea to form their own, and the Husky Culinary Club was born.
Rich is a senior studying philosophy and LSJ and has been cooking for nearly a decade. Cooking holds a special place in his heart, and its something he wishes to spread with whoever will listen. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, sewing, and legos!
Thomas grew up nurtured by his grandma's cooking. For him, food is the most powerful love language, as there are as many ways to share it with the world as there are possible dishes to make.
It is their dream that their love of food and culture can spread and inspire students at the University of Washington!

Victor is a senior studying Finance and Accounting. His passion for culinary started during COVID, and since then, it’s been such an incredible journey! In his free time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, and playing piano 🎹.
Social Media/Co-founder: Lucas

Lucas is a 3rd year here at the University of Washington. He’s from Irvine, California and runs a very very modest food account, @lukeylovesfood on instagram. He loves to cook, but he loves to eat food even more. Lucas runs our social media so anytime you message our instagram, you’ll probably be talking to him.
Baking Officer: Laasya
Baking Officer: Laasya
Laasya is a sophomore at the University of Washington, majoring in business and psychology. Originally from Portland,Oregon, Laasya fell in love with her local food scene and found a passion for cooking and baking. Her favorite thing to bake are brown butter miso chocolate chip cookies and any kind of pie! Outside of baking, Laasya loves anything outdoors and reading.

Kate is a sophomore at UW, studying environmental science. Kate is originally from Denver, CO and learned her love of making food from her family. Her favorite things to bake are macarons, bread, puff pastry, and anything she can find a recipe for. Outside of baking, Kate loves traveling, hiking, anything outdoors, working out, sports, and reading.
Informational Officer: Alex
Informational Officer: Alex
Alex is a third year at UW, majoring in Bio MCD. He is from Cupertino, California (yes, the place from the weather app) and loves to talk about anything from fantasy sports to anime to food. He got into cooking primarily through Youtubers such as Binging with Babish, or Ethan Chlebowski and is always open to trying new cuisines, with favorites being Chinese, Ethiopian, Korean, and Mediterranean.

Cece is currently a sophomore at UW studying political science. She found her passion for food through her family’s enthusiasm for trying new foods. She also loves baking cookies during the holiday season, and her favorite cuisines are Mediterranean, Italian, and Thai.
Administrative Officer: Nina
Administrative Officer: Nina
Nina is a sophomore studying computer science & math. She enjoys anything and everything art-related and first got into cooking and baking as a creative outlet. At home, she has a cat named Walnut - he taste tests when it’s safe :)
