Racing

We race in the USCSA Racing League in the eastern conference!!!!!!! This is a big win for our new team and we’re so excited about it. We’ll get to as many as we can, need 2 out of 5 to qualify for the postseason. Each weekend has 2 days, can do just one. Exact logistics are only sent out to those racing, but we will stay nearby members’ houses when possible, if not we’ll get hotel rooms (and split costs with other teams when possible). Equipment not provided, get yours before then. Reminder, the cost breakdown is: 

• $23 self-registration with USCSA (before Nov. 1)

• ~$115 per race weekend (paid after we go) for food, lodging, transportation, race fees, snacks, activities

Racing Registration

Our team will be registered for USCSA racing once it opens in September. Once that is done, we will notify everyone to complete individual registration for 23$. You can register anytime throughout the season but after November 1st, prices start to increase. 

• Read this page so you know what’s going on (we do not use the Individual Academic Eligibility Release Form and you can ignore the ELIGIBILITY PROCESS INSTRUCTIONS as well as the Institution&Team Registration) 

• Go here, READ THE TOP, and click “COMPETITOR REGISTRATION IS OPEN!” 

• You’ll need a copy of your unofficial (free) transcript which you can get by clicking “my transcript” in Northeastern StudentHub

• USE YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL - I DON'T WANT TO EXPLAIN TO THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE WHY THEY CAN'T FIND YOUR NAME BECAUSE YOU USED A GMAIL ACCOUNT!

• You’ll need info about your medical insurance

• Enter Northeastern as the institution and it will prompt you to click the buttons as follows: Conference=Eastern, Division=Thompson, Region=East

• It may or may not save your progress so save your answers somewhere or do it all at once

• Check out the discount codes available to USCSA racers (many ski shops also give USCSA discounts, just mention at checkout)
