Between September 2021 and December 2023, we started this club from scratch. We wanted to get to the point of a racing setup, even if we weren't fully a racing team, just to have team structure. We knew of three racing opportunities and laid out the path to get to them. We chose to join the Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference (ECSC) of the United States Collegiate Ski Association (USCSA), and got there by becoming a club under Northeastern University's Center for Student Involvement! We've reached out end goal of racing. If we decide to, we can now continue and try to become a Northeastern club sport, NCAA varsity team, sign up for open-to-the-public races (called "citizen" races in skiing).
