The Huskers for Hearing 5K is a fun race for people of all ages to enjoy. You can walk, run, jog, skip, any way you want to complete the 5K. This is about having fun and raising money for HearU Nebraska.

HearU Nebraska is an organization which provides assistance to families who cannot afford hearing aids and the cost accompanied with the devices. The average cost of a set of hearing aids is $4,000 with additional costs that can include batteries, ear pieces, and maintenance. This high cost can prevent families from being able to get their child the amplification they need.

HearU's mission is to provide the gift of hearing to Nebraska's children. Your support of the organization can help change a child's life.

SAA puts on this annual 5K each year to donate proceeds to the organization to help alleviate the costs.
