Hushplay is built to keep your music private. It has no servers, no accounts and no user tracking. We the developer collect no personal data whatsoever.
Everything stays on your device. Your music files, playlists, tags, lyrics, listening statistics and settings are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party.
Wi-Fi transfer stays on your network. The optional Wi-Fi Transfer feature runs a small web server on your device so you can drop files onto it from a computer on the same local Wi-Fi network. Files travel directly from your computer to your device over your own network they never pass through our servers or the internet, and the server runs only while the transfer screen is open.
Photos. If you choose to set custom cover art, Hushplay reads the single image you pick through the system photo picker. It is stored with your track on your device and is never sent anywhere.
No ads, no analytics. Hushplay contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics and no third-party tracking.
Subscriptions. Optional Hushplay Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; validation is handled on-device via Apple's StoreKit.
Data collection. The developer collects no data. Accordingly, Hushplay's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
Children. Hushplay does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
