We aim to create a predictive model that estimates the best time to purchase gas when preparing for a hurricane. Our research focuses on the Atlantic side of Florida with gas price data from multiple types of communities. Our model will provide economic insights for people in the path of a hurricane, not only for gas, but also for other goods impacted by extreme weather events.
